I think having an ice skating rink in the shopping mall is a brilliant idea! 2 Years ago when I was visiting Singapore. Despite the tropical weather, Velocity at Novena Square had an ice skating rink installed in their main lobby....with real ice! That was a great first skating experience for my children and it was as much fun for me watching them skating while enjoying a cup of coffe on the side.
They also put on ice skating shows, put together by Stars On Ice from Australia, in the evening and they were just magnificent!From what I understand, they had the ice rink there for a few years now and they will continue to do that.
